1."SMALL" "THIN" INDIAN WEDDING !

Rohan & Sangeeta's House Wedding at Hyderabad,India

27 JULY 2020
Weddings are more of a festival in India. “Aur woh shaadi hi kya jo dhum dhaam se naa ho,” they said! But the global pandemic and this lovely duo of Rohan and Sangeeta proved all those who said this, wrong! While the number of people who are allowed to attend a wedding amid COVID-19, to 50, the couple wanted their wedding to be more about themselves, their loved ones.

With no more than 5 people being a part of their unison, the duo was a true  reflection of a wedding where there is pressure to impress others, no pressure of “log kya kahenge” about their arrangements. We caught them in their happiest selves through our lenses.
For Rohan and Sangeeta, Rohan’s brother and sister-in-law not only played the roles of both their parents, but they gave the couple all the strength they needed to enter the new phase of life. The people who worked around the house for the decoration and arrangement, were no less than the Godsent. the couple and their families have been grateful to all the people who helped this family in making this event a success and memorable in-between this pandemic.
Their fur companion was an integral part and witness to the beginning of their new life. Along with their relatives who were constantly on video call, ensuring that all rituals are meticulously followed, their 4-pawed member stood by them, watching them get ready for their big day.
From the blessings of the elders to the hearty wishes of friends - Rohan and Sangeeta were caught being a part of all of these through video calls. These small yet beautiful arrangements gave the couple the breathing space they needed. No relatives hounding over their necks, telling them to hurry, no friends to hold her pallu or his dhoti folds - their wedding ceremony was, indeed, a show of warmth in minimalism.

This was our first fully at-home wedding and we’re extremely grateful to Rohan and Sangeeta for having us document their epic occasion.Take a sneak-peek into their unadulterated chit-chats and laughters. Here’s wishing them a very happy married life.
